Days 28 through 39

Howdy!
It's been a crazy couple of weeks, let me show you!

Day 39: Another day with Keith. (this is his hoodie in the picture) But it was pretty low-key as he was feeling sick with a cold and I had to drive back home that day. When I got home, we went over to my grandparents' to hang out with them and my aunt and cousin. Lots of fun, but I was worn out for sure! Just like right now! I'll post more pictures later on, but right now, I'm closing my eyes!

Day 38: Keith! I drove out to his college to spend some time with my fiance and got to watch a snippet of his baseball game. He's such a wonderful pitcher! And I love seeing him dressed out in his uniform! :) Go Warriors!

Day 37: After work, it was still light outside, which is somewhat rare, though not as much these days since the warmer weather is coming. Anyway, it was nice weather, so I went over to a park near our buildings and snapped a few shots. I like that you can see all the old buildings near the railroad. I love the sights of downtown, although I wouldn't want to live there!

Day 36: Didn't remember to take a picture until almost midnight, so this is what you get- my facebook page on my computer! :)

Day 35: Not much tonight. I've been looking forward to a night of staying in, since I've been out so much over the last several days. So, it's catch up on laundry night!

Day 34: Another night out, this time in Lawrence to visit my friend, Rich. I had some time to kill before he got out of a basketball game between our alma mater and a Lawrence team, so I went shopping and spent some of my Christmas gift card money. I love shopping with friends or family, but there's just something great about shopping alone. After the game was over, we went for dessert at Steak and Shake and hung out there until almost midnight. That's super late for me on a work night, but Rich still had to drive back home (two and a half hours away!). It's so wonderful to see college friends though. Everyone is so spread out, it's almost hard to remember how it was to live in the college community like we did. It seems like a long time ago. I guess it was a full year ago now! Wow.

Day 33: A great night out with my mom. We had dinner out and then filled in the gaps of my wedding registry at my favorite place to shop and browse- Target! It was so good to spend some mother-daughter time together without feeling rushed, just hanging out!

Day 32: Super bowl Sunday! I went to a friend from work's house and met a lot of neat people and had fun- but I could not leave Bonner without my trusty sidekick, Stella. She's my Garmin and without her, I would have never made it to the party on the Missouri side! I was actually down the road and noticed that I didn't have her charger with me, so I had to turn around and go back so I wouldn't be stranded in Missouri forever! I wish I had better navigational abilities, but Stella is a good replacement for that.

Day 31: The last day of January. I've been taking pictures every day for a full month! This is great! And something else that is great is the weather on this Saturday. It was in the 70's- in JANUARY! It was amazing! So, I broke out the flip-flops for our lunch out with the church ladies. It was great fun.
That evening, my good friend Allison came over and we made cookies and watched my favorite new show, Leverage. I love that girl. I wish she was done with school so she could hang out with me all the time. :)

Day 30: I got to spend an evening with my grandparents and cousin, Rachel. It was great to get to sit around and chat for a long with with them all. Lots of medical discussion as my cousin is planning on going into the nursing profession soon. I'm getting a little queasy thinking about all the topics we covered. Just kidding. :)

Day 29: A favorite snack of mine. Raw almonds. Good for you too!

Day 28: Sunrise on the way out the door to work. I liked how the screen made it super "pixel-fied"!
